Welcome Woodlands Holiday Park

Situated in the picturesque and natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park, Woodlands is family owned and managed and is the ideal location to own your own luxury holiday home or cedarwood chalet. You can enjoy the peace, relaxation and tranquillity of this well established Park which also offers the comfort and companionship of the licensed Country Club. The Park is south facing, set amidst mature gardens and landscaping giving you the opportunity to appreciate the surrounding countryside.

Whether you are looking for activities or simply relaxation you are sure to find plenty on offer in the area. Sea and fresh water fishing, sailing, wind surfing, mountain biking, golfing are all available in the locality. On the other hand you might just prefer to enjoy the areas abundant wildlife and historic sites or simply sit and relax overlooking the sunsets of Cardigan Bay.

If you are a keen walker Bird Rock (Craig y Deryn) offers fantastic views of the Dysynni Valley whilst a trip on the narrow-guage Tal-y-llyn Railway is a must for all, stopping at Dolgoch and Nant Gwernol where you can enjoy walks through the woods and to the old slate mine.

At night the comfortable lounges of the country club provide the ideal meeting place for making new friends. During the holiday season entertainment takes place in the large function room, or you can choose from the extensive menu and enjoy a meal overlooking the beautiful valley beyond.

There’s family nights, discos and live artistes during the holiday season. There is a pool table and a T.V. lounge. You can enjoy a morning swim in the heated outdoor swimming pool which is open from Whitsun until September, take a walk in the woods beyond the park and enjoy the splendid views, or if you prefer, there is the table tennis room. A laundrette equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities is close by. Dogs are permitted on the Park provided they are kept on a lead. Site facilities are available during the main holiday season at the Management’s discretion.

Holiday Homes & Chalets: All our Holiday Homes are privately owned and all the Holiday Home pitches have full services ie: mains drainage, water, electric and TV points with Freeview availabilty. All makes of new Holiday Home can be purchased on the Park and pre-owned Holiday Homes may be purchased subject to availability. The Park licence allows 7 day occupancy from 1st March to 31st October and a 5 day occupancy between 1st November to 28th February (The Park is closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday). The Park cannot be used as your sole or main residence, proof of your permanent address where you reside and can be contacted will be required.

The Park has a total of 122 Holiday Homes and 55 Chalets on 20 acres of well established and developed land.

Touring Caravans: There is accommodation for twenty touring caravans on hard standing or in the recently opened grassed paddock. All have electric hook-up (5amp maximum supply), T V and water connection and 10 have mains sewage connection points. The shower and toilet block with free constant hot water is located nearby together with a washing up area and a chemical toilet disposal point. A picnic area is located in the touring park and all park facilities are included in the overnight charge.
