Escape, relax and unwind at Pentre Ucha – We are a long established family run caravan park set in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the edge of the Berwyn Mountains in Mid-Wales. We are four star rated by the Welsh Tourist Board and hold the prestigious David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. Lying in 20 acres of sumptuous grounds, nestled in the foothills of the Berwyn Mountains, the stunning natural features make this an idyllic setting for your caravan holiday home.
Our impressively located riverside development looks out over the River Barrog and up to the mountains beyond, making for some of the finest views in the area throughout the Spring, Summer and Autumn. We are a small secluded caravan park, placing particular emphasis on a relaxing and peaceful way of life.
We cater for all members of the family and aim to offer a superior and personal service to all customers, old and new alike Our well maintained and beautifully landscaped park offers generous spacing between caravans, ensuring quiet leisure and relaxation. All pitches are fully equipped with mains services, including satellite television, and the park also has a launderette for your convenience.
The park is only a short walk (300 yards) from the pretty village of Penybontfawr. The village shop has a great selection of food on offer, a very wide range of other essentials and a Post Office. The local pub offers real ale and delicious food served in a warm and friendly atmosphere. There are also a wide variety of other fine pubs and restaurants in the area.

From Shrewsbury follow the A5 towards Oswestry, continue for about 6 miles and turn off at the junction onto the B4396 signposted Knockin. Follow this road and continue over the crossroads at Llynclys. After a further six miles turn left, signposted Bala onto the B4391. Once you reach Penybontfawr, carry on through the village, with the garage on the left and the pub on the right, turn left on the river bridge. We are 300 yards on the left.
