Studfold’s award-winning Static Caravan Park in the Yorkshire Dales, is one of the most well-run, family-friendly caravan parks you could choose for your holiday home. Next to the farmhouse, with the beck running by, it’s a haven of peace and quiet, surrounded by amazing scenery, with all the best amenities you could wish for.For three generations, the Walker family have run the park to high standards and have been shortlisted for the Welcome to Yorkshire Holiday Park of the Year, as well as being the winner of the White Rose Award. Many owners have been at the park for over 20 years, and with seasonal pitches available, it’s common for visitors to request a longer stay.

With magnificent Nidderdale views stretching in every direction, wonderful walks; yet with fun on the doorstep, social activities, and only a short drive to attractions, Studfold is perfect for years of wonderful holidays to come.

The beauty of having a caravan at our static park is that you are perfectly situated to take advantage of everything our amazing Yorkshire Dales countryside and facilities have to offer.

Studfold static park is run to high standards, with the comfort of our holidaymakers always in mind. Our park and facilities have been designed for your enjoyment, ease and convenience, as well as the consideration of our wonderful natural environment. Each pitch has plenty of room, with its own grassed area that can double-up as a parking bay. All newly placed and purchased caravans have sewage, treated spring water and electricity provision. Some pitches are suitable for a side balcony.

As you might expect in hilly country, reception can be poor. There is only EE mobile reception and no aerial-based TV reception at Studfold. WiFi is available via vouchers, which you can purchase from Reception. This may enable WiFi calling if your mobile phone has this facility. TV reception is only available via a satellite connection.

A laundry area, with washer and deep sink is available in the static park. An industrial dryer is available in the static caravan park too, which is coin-operated.

We have a small shop onsite at Reception that sells basic provisions, soft drinks, sweets, ice-cream, small toys and gifts.

There are many shops in the local town of Pateley Bridge nearby, and supermarkets in Ripon and Harrogate. There are also two traditional Yorkshire pubs in walking distance that serve excellent food and good beer.

There are lovely, circular walks that start from and return to Studfold, situated right on the Nidderdale Way. Talk to us at Reception and we’ll point you in the right direction. Whether you’d like a few miles for your family with young children or are up for a more serious ten miles-plus, Studfold is a great base for walkers of all abilities.

The Nidderdale Way Cafe is a fabulous addition to Studfold, and a great place for static caravanners to catch up. There is a lovely homemade range of breakfasts, light lunches, snacks, drinks, and ‘lumps’ of cake for you to enjoy sat inside or out, as well as a very warm welcome.

Getting Here

Although the beauty of Studfold is its position at the top of Nidderdale in the midst of fantastic Yorkshire Dales countryside, it is still within easy reach of the towns of Harrogate, Skipton, Thirsk and Northallerton, and the cities of Leeds, Bradford, York and Ripon. Caravans, motor homes/campervans or cars with heavy trailers, due to the exceptionally steep hills from Masham to Lofthouse, avoid this route to Studfold! Do not use your sat nav for the last part of your journey. Please follow these directions, or ring for more information. Use a map from Pateley Bridge and take the Low Wath Road FROM HARROGATE: go down the high street at Pateley Bridge, go over the bridge and turn right on to this road by the petrol station, signposted to Lofthouse and NOT the Top Wath Road FROM SKIPTON: turn left by the petrol station, signposted to Lofthouse From A1 south, exit at Ripon junction (Not Bedale or Leeming Bar) and continue your journey via Pateley Bridge, see above From A1 north, exit at Knaresborough/York junction and continue via Pateley Bridge, see above
