‘Love Plants’ is unique in Shropshire. As a dedicated plant centre, our experienced horticulturists provide advice and assistance and all the support you need to select and nurture garden plants. Individual team members often have a specific interest which, in combination, provides a wealth of knowledge for you to tap into. We serve the needs of home gardeners, commercial landscapers and garden designers.
‘Love Plants’ is not a garden centre, so there’s no decking, power tools or garden gnomes here – but if personal, knowledgeable, attentive service and top quality plants are important to you then ‘Love Plants’ is the place to go. We encourage customers to take their time and browse – and our covered outdoor areas let you do so, even in inclement weather.
We want to get to know you and your garden, so bring photographs along (it also aids our companion planting advice).
‘Love Plants’ stock familiar garden favourites, alongside more unusual plants and a selection of grand specimens. Our team of horticulture specialists offer expert advice on plant selection, combination planting, growing mediums, fertilizers, soil improvers and pest control. We also offer ‘potting-up’, delivery and an informed service - that’s the Love Plants difference.

From the East Head west on the M54 until it becomes the A5. At the first roundabout take the first exit signposted North Wales, Shrewsbury and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. At the next roundabout take the first exit towards Ironbridge and Attingham Park. Immediately on the right you will see our three tall flagpoles and our entrance is a little further on, again on the right.
From the North You will be on either the A49 or the A53 and both roads reach Battlefield Roundabout where there is a Starbucks and BP Service Station. Take the exit signposted Leominster, Telford and Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Continue on the A49 taking the second exit (straight over) at the roundabout. Continue on. At the next roundabout take the second exit signposted Oswestry, Leominster and Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Keep in the left lane. At the next roundabout take the first exit signposted Ironbridge and Attingham Park. Immediately on the right you will see three tall flagpoles and our entrance is a little further on, again on the right.
From The South The A49 South (Hereford Road) runs through Bayston Hill to a large roundabout with Dobbies Garden Centre on the left. Take the fourth exit at this roundabout signposted Telford A5 (M54). At the next roundabout take the fourth exit signposted Ironbridge and Attingham Park. Immediately on the right you will see three tall flagpoles and our entrance is a little further on, again on the right.
From The West Follow the A458 from Welshpool to Churncote Roundabout and take the third exit signposted Telford A5 (M54). On the next three roundabouts take the second exit (straight over) and at the next take the fourth exit signposted Ironbridge and Attingham Park. Immediately on the right you will see three tall flagpoles and our entrance is a little further on, again on the right.
Parking We have enough parking on site for 56 vehicles.
Public Transport Shrewsbury station has good connections to London Euston, Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Birmingham International and Cardiff Central. There is a taxi rank at the station.
