Completely refurbished at the start of 2019 The Clive Arms offers spacious, beautifully appointed accommodation in its 18 bedrooms. The Georgian building has been tastefully decorated and offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can sample some of the regions finest seasonal food, whether this is in the restaurant, the bar, the Plassey dining room or weather permitting, in one of our outside courtyard areas.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful historic town of Ludlow, with the famous Ludlow Racecourse and Golf course located 5 minutes walk away, The Clive Arms offers the perfect base from which to explore the stunning countryside of South Shropshire and Welsh Marches.

At The Clive Arms we pride ourselves on offering local, seasonal food in relaxed, comfortable surroundings and having had a full refurbishment in early 2019 the hotel now offers beautifully appointed accommodation.

The ingredients for our seasonal menus are sourced from the land around us. We are part of the Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate which provides us with meat reared on our doorstep, cheese and artisan bread from the neighbouring Ludlow Food Centre and fresh vegetables grown in Lady Windsor’s walled garden.

Our rooms are of a very high standard and our menus demonstrate how our own seasonal produce can be used to create delicious British dishes. We come recommended by the Good Pub Guide for our food and local Ludlow beers and ales.
